Also yesterday in Elit on Chanel 1 they said a few words about the new HIM album and played a part from Heartkiller - all this is available on HimTube.
For Sue Magazine Ville shared a few things that made an impression:
After asking for his opinion about the fact that many of the people who already have had the chance to listen to the album say that the songs, to some extent, remind of the first albums of the band- Ville does not deny but adds:
- Acoustic Funeral reminds a lot of When Love And Death Embrace. - Love, The Hardest Way on the other hand have a 'Right Here My Arms' rock beat. - Scared To Death is in classical pop-rock style as well as Join Me. - Ode to Solitube is the heaviest track in the album - "is a kind of Metallica meets Fleetwood Mac meets Buffalo Springfield thing" -at moments the drums sound in a Lars Ulrich style (from Metallica),but afterwards they calm down with blues elements.
As a whole he doesn't deny that the album holds American rhythms, too, but this wasn't the producer Matt Squire's contribution, but their own one.
I won't repeat anything else apart from the fact that The Foreboding Sense Of Impending Happiness looks like is gonna be one of the pearls in the album, which is gonna be a splendid ending of this journey! :)
There are some problems with the forum unfortunately in the most important days, but hopefully it will be all right very soon. I have also added a little window that will appear and will remind you to vote for Top 40 on Zrock! If you really want HIM to come once again to Bulgaria this is one of the ways to make it work... The only thing we need is to promote the album so everyone hear about it,so that the radios start to play the songs. And now I will just spit it out! GENIUS! Last night the two versions of Shatter Me With Hope were out! The Sword Of Democles from the CD single of Heartkiller, as well as the album version, that was included into the new issue of Sonic Seducer. The Sword Of Democles is mixed not from anyone but from Hilli Hielesmaa himself and as we already mentioned it is just a little bit longer and at moments more melodious.The album version ,on the other hand, is much quicker and Ville screams a lot in it! The chorus, in my opinion, won't be appealing to all you. The hysteria is growing more and more and everywhere the comments are sort of " HIM are back!".
Like St. Valentine - has anyone been dreaming of a song starting the same way as Stigmata Diaboli and Venus Doom in one!?With a video clip reminding of the witchcraft movies! Well, you can watch it from HERE!
And so! The most awesome things are coming....And this year HIM are definetely coming to Bulgaria...Do not misunderstand me, I don't have any information confirming that, but am just thinking that...whatever ... The band will be touring in USA by the beginning of May and after that probably will be going around Europe....and obviously they do have something in mind! ;)
And now here comes the question what's that video? Is the song gonna be a single or not; isthis clip gonna be played on the music channels? The answer is somewhere there but what we know is that Saint Valentines is actually really soon, so why not! Most of you must have already guessed that the little girl in the video is the daughter of Linde - Оlivia. And the guy on the screen is Ville of course, who is writing the lyrics of the song and is drawing heartagrams :) A dreamed video of the dreamed song!Hold on because in one week time the album will be released!
We also are waiting for the maxi single of Heartkiller (was out on the 21.01 in Scandinavia), which consists of Shatter Me With Hope [The Sword Of Democles], as well as Heartkiller (Moоrdeb Version). For Shatter Me With Hope it is still unknown if it is the song demo or some kind of remix, but this will be clear after a few days. The video, on the other hand, is one of the most watched videos in Myspace and it slowly but greatly becomes more and more broadcasted on the music channels. If Like St. Valentine's video also shows up on the channels you shouldn't be surprised, as it won't be the first time to release two videos simultaneously. In December 2001 the band released two videoclips at the same time with a common single (as well as separately) - I mean Close To The Flame and Heartache Every Moment. The other possibility is just to be a promo video of the song , as they did withthe most of the songs of the previous album, but back then they were only 30 sec each. While this video is just right for Fracture on ММ TV.
Only a couple minutes ago the oldest website counter detected the 400 000 visit! For that amazing reason I'm sharing a video that most of you already have, but no way with that kind of quality! ;)
Today's update is rather about the website than about the band.
There is a new page HIMTube, accessible for registered users only and it i placed in the menu Special. From the channel you will be able to watch parts of videos that will be uploaded in the website or just stuff that is not that important to download. As I previously mentioned in the last update the Heartkiller videoclip just started being played in the most musical channels now and from HIMTube you can watch the video premiers that were broadcasted on the German VIVA and MTV.

There is another NEW page named Helper and you can find it in menu Others - Support. There are described interesting features regarding the website and its usage.
On Monday there is a possibility to come out some kinda preview of In Venere Veritas. :)
So what's new? Well now we have a person in the crew who will be translating the news for the English version of the website! This is Athea from the forum and we believe that she will be doing great! ;) And we'll be delighted if there are other people willing to help with the website.
Only in the 2nd day Heartkiller went to number 1 in the chart of the Austrian music channel GoTV. Since today the video has started the first broadcasts in Germany and I guess it is on the most music channels around Europe as well.
And now something extremely interesting! I have chosen for you the most intriguing things Ville said for Sonic Seducer Magazine! - The first song on which they have started working in the album was Like St. Valetine. - Katherine Wheel on the other hand, is the sereal song that Ville has been writing for a few years and in the end managed to finish and include into the album. - The making of the album took them quite a lot time as the songs have 4 demos each! - The album was recorded for 9 weeks and the complete mixing took two. - The first song to be completely ready was In Venera Veritas and as far as I know it has a remix version as well! - Screamworks has been the working title of the album since the beginning. - It's been hard to chose which song to become the first single. Ville was hesitating between Dying Song, Scared To Death and Heartkiller. As a result they have decided that Scared to Death is too "poppy" and Heartkiller is the combination of all album songs, so that, it was the reasonable choice. - Ville is working over a few new covers!
To conclude, I can only say that the band has become ultra productive! After all, it doesn't matter what we say, in 3 week time the band will have released over 30 tracks! They will make also a gig-party for the new album (the same as 2003 - Hamburg/ Love Metal Preview). We expect new covers, too. They started playing again old tracks such as When Love And Death Embrace, Bury Me Deep Inside, And Love Said No.
And something about Heartkiller video! A lot of peple are very disappointed, also there are many who like the video. So that's why I started a new poll about that! So please vote and lets see what will happen! Also it seems that there is something more behind the idea of the video so check Here! The video is directed by James Copema. Later tomorrow I'll post the video in a very good quality to the TVRequest!

Heartkiller video have beenbeen turned on music channels for long, but the band seems to want to appear with a bang in the next decade.Tonight the official website releases 3 photos from the video shoots. For now, yet nothing is said, but hopefully by the end of the week we will be able to see the clip.

And now something about the site! The first and most important thing to note is the renovation of the pictures in the Video Archive! More accurately most of the images of the clips were replaced with new ones that are close to HD quality! You can see the difference - Video Archive!
